Description:

The fruit is a berry up from 7 to 14 cm long and 5 to 9 cm wide. The peel can be yellow or magenta and its mucilaginous pulp comes in white or red color. Each fruit contains numerous small bright black seeds. The pitahaya is a very refreshing fruit, since it has a high content of water, which allows it to be consumed without many restrictions. It has an intense and delicious aroma, which makes its consumption much more pleasant.

Scientific name: Hylocereus Triangularis.
