The green fruit
It is a small, oval or spherical fruit with a convex base and sometimes with a small neck. It has a thin shell with a smooth and very adherent surface. It can be green and yellowish green when ripe with a pale green pulp, fine grain. It is quite juicy, highly acid, with distinctive flavor and aroma.
Common name: Persian Lemon, Tahitian lime.
Scientific name: Citrus × latifolia.
